Chardon high school student, T.J. Lane, has been identified by the Ohio paper “The Plain Dealer” as the gunman that opened fire in the school’s classroom at approximately 7:30 am on February 27, 2012. Reports say that Lane walked into the cafeteria, approached a table of students, and opened fire hitting five of them. Four students are wounded and one student was killed, Daniel Parmertor, 16.
It is believed that Lane was the lone gunman and operated on his own.
